Lisboa [LISBON] my birthplace, my country, my culture.

These photos were taken in Mouraria, a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood in the heart of the Portuguese capital.

This project began during my college years, a time when I was still young and naive, exploring the world and trying to understand it.

I wandered through Mouraria, a place I wasn’t very familiar with, and found myself surrounded by people who, though different from me, were full of character and life. Mouraria is a melting pot where the native Portuguese culture thrives alongside a rich blend of influences from around the world.

It’s a place where cultures and traditions merge, creating a unique and dynamic atmosphere.

For me, these photos carry a smell, a story, and a personality.

They hold a piece of Lisbon in each frame. I hope that, through these images, you can feel the essence of this city—the warmth, the energy, and the spirit of its people..
