Sleep

Music VideoClip October 2020

Production of a creative an abstract video to accompany a new arrangement of a classical piece of music by Vivaldi Autumn.

It’s a three minutes piece called Sleep.

The work we have chosen for this contest is called Sleep which uses the second movement of Vivaldi’s Autumn from The Four Seasons. The background to the piece at this point is that the intoxicated protagonist, after a day of hard-core carousing, falls into a deep sleep and experiences beautiful dreams.

10 cross-genre instrumentalists/musicians have been asked to create their own improvisation using the existing string base master. Orchestra of the Swan have contacted a wide variety of musicians from contrasting musical backgrounds to take part, with the aim of releasing each new interpretation of Sleep over the coming months.

Orchestra of the Swan (OOTS) is one of the UK’s leading professional chamber orchestras and has been based in Stratford-upon-Avon for over 20 years. We have an enviable track record of devising thrilling programmes, promoting new music and making a positive and effective contribution to the communities at the heart of our immersive residencies.

Escola Artística António Arroio, Lisbon February 2018

In the summer of 2022, the Birmingham Local Arts Forums brought the arts to life with a series of free, community-focused activities, all connected by the vibrant Number 11 Bus Route.

The project featured a unique blend of live comedy, window doodling, musical performances, and a rotating lineup of creative experiences at each stop along the route.

As the filmmaker for this incredible journey, I was responsible for capturing every moment—filming, sound recording, conducting interviews, and editing the final content for distribution.

This year-long project was not only a creative challenge but a deeply transformative experience. It allowed me to build lasting friendships, forge professional relationships, and connect with so many amazing people whose stories and spirit will stay with me forever!

This project changed me in ways I never expected, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful and impactful initiative.
