Voices by Veeu

Voices by VEEU is part of VEEU, a film distribution platform for the creator economy founded by Godwin Nicholas and co-funded by Israel Ogundare. Created in 2026, VEEU was built to support and showcase independent filmmaking, sharing a wide range of films while expanding into new creative spaces.

Alongside its film distribution work, VEEU has developed a dedicated editorial and storytelling section designed to highlight and amplify the voices of creatives from different backgrounds and disciplines. I have been part of the platform since its launch in 2026, joining at the very beginning of this journey.

In my role, I work as a host and social media face for the company, contributing to both podcast content and the platform’s wider digital presence. Being involved in this way has been an inspiring experience, allowing me to grow creatively, build confidence in front of the camera, and contribute to a platform that celebrates independent voices and meaningful storytelling.

Voices by Veeu - Jennifer Syers

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jennifer Skyers, and it was such an inspiring experience. Jennifer is a remarkable woman—an author, speaker, and purpose-driven leader whose story is filled with resilience, faith, and determination. Speaking with her was incredibly insightful, and I learned so much from her journey, especially about forgiveness, purpose, and the power of believing in yourself despite the labels others may place on you.

What stood out to me most was Jennifer’s ability to write with authenticity and depth. Her work is deeply rooted in themes of faith, God, and Black identity, offering powerful storytelling that speaks across cultures and backgrounds. She shares meaningful messages of healing, purpose, and growth in a way that feels inclusive and relatable to everyone. Jennifer was a lovely person to speak with, and this interview reminded me why I love projects like this—connecting with inspiring people and learning from stories that leave a lasting impact.

Voices by Veeu - Alli Weir

I had the pleasure of interviewing Alli Weir for Voices by VEEU, and it was a genuinely eye-opening and inspiring conversation. Alli is a stage and screen actress based in Belfast, as well as a writer and creative editor, with a deep love for storytelling across sci-fi, horror, and fantasy. Speaking with her, I was struck not only by her creativity, but also by her honesty and strength in sharing her personal journey.

Alli opened up about living with endometriosis and how it has shaped both her life and her approach to work and creativity. Despite ongoing challenges, she continues to act, write, and create with remarkable resilience, finding balance, discipline, and purpose in her craft. Her story is a powerful reminder that we should never judge a book by its cover, as we never truly know what someone may be going through. I was reminded of the importance of always choosing kindness. Well done to Alli for fighting so far and continuing to push forward with such strength.
